Taking a Strategic Approach
Pre-construction services include helping our clients answer the following questions:
- How will this project start?
WKW can lead the client through the necessary conversations with architects/interior designers to obtain plans that can be submitted to the city for permitting. - How long will this project take?
WKW can provide sample schedules, identifying potential delays or long lead time materials that might impact the project timeline. - What will this project cost?
WKW can provide a rough order of magnitude or detailed budget (depending on where the client is in the process) that can be used to help the client secure the funding necessary to make the project happen. - Does the project have to cost this much?
If the original budget price comes in too high, WKW specializes in value-engineering to creatively meet the design intent while reducing the overall cost.
