Virginia Beach, VA
Project Brief
Location 2814 Virginia Beach Blvd.; Virginia Beach, VA
Square Footage 6,720 sq.ft.
Architect Covington, Hendrix Anderson Architects
WKW Development partnered with a local commercial developer to complete this 6,720-square-foot ground-up commercial facility for Safelite AutoGlass in Virginia Beach, Virginia, transforming a former residential property into a fully developed commercial site. Our scope included complete site development and construction of the new metal building, featuring five 10′ x 10′ roll-up doors on each side to create an efficient drive-through workflow for vehicles entering and exiting the service bays.
Inside, the customer-facing area provides a modern, open, and comfortable experience with abundant natural light and a large interior glass window offering customers a clear view into the spacious service area where technicians perform vehicle glass work. The office portion of the facility also includes restrooms, a manager’s office, and an employee breakroom. Throughout the project, both the interior and exterior were constructed to meet Safelite AutoGlass branding and operational standards, resulting in a highly visible, purpose-built facility along one of Virginia Beach’s well-traveled commercial corridors.
